Our Story
Fan Features first gained significance in 2018 as a popular series published on lifestyle blog thehathippie.com.
A devoted music fan herself, Blogger & former Radio DJ, Robyn Jane decided to overcome the prejudices and stereotypes that surround fans by giving them a chance to share their stories and highlight the power of music.
We believe that music plays a significant role in the lives of people around the world yet its impact is often overlooked. For the fans, music is key to lifelong friendships, self expression and a release from the stresses of the world around them. At Fan Features it is our aim to share these values and give fans the opportunity to share their stories & what music means to them.
The Founder
Having spent much of her teenage years isolated due to chronic illness, Robyn spent her time writing & producing content for a number of publications including 'Inspirer' magazine, Young Scot & One Soul Many Hearts all whilst running a popular lifestyle blog under the pseudonym 'The Hat Hippie'.
An avid music fan since childhood, Robyn channeled her passion by hosting a weekly radio show on 3TFM which saw her interview artists such as Graeme Clark (Wet Wet Wet) & Britain's Got Talent winner Jai McDowall. Over the years, she has made appearances on BBC Radio Scotland & Capital FM as well contributing
content for The SSE Hydro & presenting a segment on BBC2's Timeline.
